This might be of interest to some,
It appears through economic reasons that the spring fly fishing show at Newark has been moved a week earlier (26th / 27th FEB 2011) than planned and is now "part" of the "British shooting show".
Not so bad I thought for one who does not and never has shot and has no real interest in guns etc. I thought the 2 shows together would fill the building and give me something else to explore, but having a look at the floorplan for 2011 I think that the fishing section could be underwhelming ( top left of image ).
If I am not mistaken that area in the main/only building was where most of fly tyers row was located in previous years, and appears to be 1/3rd of the floor area. Also the areas for the theatre talks has been swallowed up along with the indoor casting pools, the GAIA and AAPGAI outdoor casting areas (Which are now under tented ares) so the provision for casting demos and casting clinics seems not to be there. I know the BFCC are hoping to be granted a new area.
