Default heavy rain

Have got Monday afternoon off and am heading off to Syon Park ( have a 4 fish ticket to use up). Noticed the forecast predicts heavy rain for Monday. Can I fish dry flies on a co-polymer leader in the rain or is it a waste of time? Should i just stick to blue flash damsels and similar on fluoro?
thanks
Alex.

Hmmm. Unlikely to be any sort of a hatch going on in heavy rain, I would have thought. Better off with the wet/ nymph/ lure approach in that situation, perhaps?

To be honest, Monday is forecast to be a filthy day weather-wise, discretion may be the better part etc....

Damsels and Cats whiskers the way to go if you want to use your ticket fully.
