Default Newbie. Studs in felt sole waders

Just bought my first pair of felt sole waders.
They came with studs but no instructions....
1) Is it a good idea to put studs in the heels?
2) Is there a web page that shows idiots how to put them in and in what pattern?

Thanks for any information.

Bill

I put mine in a horse shoe pattern at toe and heel and it works fine.

That's the way, three or four at each end is plenty, about 20mm in from the edge.
