Recently had a problem with my Loop evotec 9thirteen reel drag system. (is 10 years old)
Contacted loop regarding servicing/repair, who basically didnt want to know, and refered me to Danielsson flyreels as being the only ones who held spares.
Given the history of these reels perhaps I should have known this.
However on contacting Danielsson I was advised to send them it, and they would have a look, probably cost me about £50 for basic service.
Sent reel to them 3 weeks ago, got it back from post office to_day, must stress it was in post office since last tuesday, as unable to collect till to-day.
Not only has fault been rectified, but several grub screws have been replaced, line/wind has been reversed as per my request, and post/packaging has been paid for.
Cost?
Absolutely nil, zero, nada!!
