Default Monnow Auction 2010

Excuse the blatant attention seeking but this forum has historically been fantastic in supporting the Monnow Fisheries Association in raising funds through our annual online auction. If you want to bid or donate... it will be greatly appreciated and it will make a difference for the fishes and the fishermen

You can find out all about the fourth annual Monnow Fisheries auction over on the River Monnow forum by clicking here!

Just a reminder.... slightly over 48 hours to go on the auction. Lots more lots () added since the post above. Still water days out, some classic coarse fishing, salmon on the Towy, and a fantastic cottage for a week in Carmarthenshire...

If you haven't done already, do spare a few minutes to look through the auction threads on the Monnow board in the rivers section.
Best
Dave

Tonio... what you saw on Countryfile was the ugly face of the Monnow catchment Beauty lies within. Bid hard and long and your generosity will be rewarded.

Hats off to you Dave, a lot of hard work on your part for a very worthy cause.
I think you have excelled yourself this year, no doubt due to a lot of very kind people.
Your passion for the Monnow is blatantly obvious, well done.

Steven... your kind comments really are appreciated, and not just by myself, but by all those of us who care about the river. The likes of Cranefly and Mr P are absolutely indestructible in their committment, I just count myself fortunate to be part of the happy band.

...and without being sycophantic... I'll also say a big "Hats Off" to the likes of yourself, and the other forum members who generously donate lots - giving time, money and effort... that is what makes the real difference, people who engage with what we are trying to do. I say it each year, but I find it marvellous that people who hardly know each other will get behind a common banner and lend their shoulder.
Best
Dave
