Default Neoprene chesties for a 12 yr old?

I've scoured the usual places for these, to no avail.
Also tried the States, where theres plenty, but they don't ship air on them
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks All.
Ade.

Quick google search to help the young 'un:

neoprenechestewaders

These guys have neoprenes starting in size 4?

They also do children's chest waders for £45, albeit not in neoprene.

Mebbes being a bit picky, but do you really want a 12 year old wading up to their middle, never mind their chest?

Stalker

I went through the same process for my lad albeit not specifically looking for Neoprene and ended up buying Ocean waders from the Glasgow Angling Centre.

Dont know if thats any good but they have lasted him 2 seasons so far and they are still to big

Bert makes a good point about the depth the wee people should venture, while my lad is normally full of bravado he seems suitable cautious. He really struggles as the water gets to his knees even in a gentle flow. Food for thought.

Cheers guys,
A good point made re children wading, believe me the last thing I would do is to put my son in harms way, the reason for chesties is to keep him warm whilst fishing with me. I would'nt let him get any deeper than knee height anyway, it's just we've tried breatheables and they just don't keep him warm enough.
I fish all winter for Grayling and using neoprenes makes the difference between a comfortable day and a cold one, so it made sense to look for the same for him.
It's a pity UK retailers dont stock them that small, but I suppose it's all down to demand.

Cheers again guy's

Ade.

OK,
in that case look at the suppliers of boot foot neoprene waders, in ladies sizes.
will cost you more, but will be what you want.

Not sure what you mean by "they don't ship air on them" from the States.

There's no such thing as surface mail any more from the US. Everything goes by air. Or maybe I'm missing your meaning?

While safety is a concern, I think chest waders are a good idea for a different reason. Whatever height the boots are, kids will always manage to go over the top and get wet. It's like a law of physics or something.

And then you'll have a cold/wet fishing partner and so much for your fishing as it's off to get dry clothes. Better to have the chest waders and just focus on keeping them from getting too deep rather than constantly having to worry about them going in over the tops of wellies or thigh-highs.
