Default new rod

i posted on this forum about losing the tip section of my rod last week whilst fishing. i cant find a replacement section and emailed daiwa but they didnt even email me back. does anyone know anywhere that has offers on? looking a new rod, must be 6# or can anyone recommend a rod with that rating, looking to spend no more than £80. any info would be greatly appreciated

Default Tried David Norwich

Hi Lavo, You could try David, he may have some spare sections or could make up a section. I don't know the costs etc, but it's worth a shot.

Regards

Stuart

Try calling Daiwa instead on 01698 355723 then if no luck sourcing the tip and therefore need a new rod, have a look at some within your budget from Shakespeare, Fulling Mill, Vision, Greys and Sonik for example.

Try not to buy blind though, have a feel of some rods within your budget before purchasing.

foned daiwa, they told me because the rod was discontinued there was basically nothing they could do. phoned my local tackle shops and was greeted with the same response. so it looks like ill have to buy a new rod. between the sharpes of aberdeen belmont, wychwood truefly or greys grxi. all rods are priced around the same price, any recomendations?

if you budget can stretch a little but further there are good deals on greys x-flite and streamflex

Greys X-Flite Fly Rods - Sportfish

a lot of rod for the money..cheaper then the equivalent size grxi at the moment

Hi, If you are in any way handy and can whip your own rings on, we can make you a custom made carbon fibre blank tip section to match your rod for £65.00. Finishing it to match the rest of the rods costs a bit more. Click on the link below for more information.
