I would say if the fish are holding around the boat Jetty still then your sure to catch there. The overflow down to the concrete block should yield some fish if you have a boat.

To be fair people seem to catch most area's from the bottom point etc. But if your struggling the boat Jetty could help out.

Flies, I did okay on Thursday with size 14,16 CDC shuttlecocks (black and Hares and green) the same with F-flys but the shuttlecocks were the most poductive. I used Dries all day I think Lockwood fishes them well most of the time.

I used a 4.75lb Partridge fluro tippet but wish I had used stronger as I lost a good fish, no doubt the finer tippets help with the amount of takes but lack the strength for bigger fish.

There are some good fish in there I think I'll be using 5.5lb-6lb tippet from now on with dry's.

Good Luck
Gary

I have no links with this site other than I bought the flies from here that I used on thursday.

http://www.troutflies.co.uk/section....dc_trout_flies

It gives you some Idea of style, colour of Cdc f-flys and shuttlecocks. Make some 14,16,18's if you can. I might be up there Saturday myself with my Father.
