Lough ashling ,edenderry

hello Guys,
Has anyone here fished lough ashling in edenderry,co offaly,Ireland.(for rainbows)
I am fishing it next week and would like to know what tactics and flies do the job.
Any info would be appreciated.

Never fished it but was thinking to head over there for a look during the off season. I'd image it's going to be lures this time of year. if you do go down stick a report on the place up here, would like to know what it's like.

I will indeed.I am fishing it this sunday in a competition.So I will give a report on the results.
