Default braided loops

What you are looking for is braided monofilament. for example-

If you are using light PVC lines for delicate presentation then a better option is to remove a couple of inches of the coating with nailvarnish remover, bouble back the core to the end of the coating. Sew the core together to form a loop and then whip over it with tying thread and coat it with a flexible glue like evostick.

It makes much neater loop.

Credit for this method to Steve Parton.

Or you could try exactly what I've made Shakespeare's , FOG's ,Bob Church( pace alas ) and lots of other folk's out of for over 20 years.

Ring me on 01159463572 and if your credit card works it is in the post !

Best wishes

This is the method I use only I put a "sleeve" of 30lb braided backing over the fly line core before I sew it down. Works extremely well and has the added advantage that you only need a needle, not a credit card..
