Default furled leader question

when using the furled leaders as supplied by rod dibble and a few other people, can they be used for both surface and sub surface fishing ie: floating with dries, sinking with nymphs. do you use floatants or sinkants to treat them for whatever situation. many thanks, terry

A good covering of Mucilin (the one in the red canister) for dry and untreated for wet
