Default Best Method - How to actually retrieve Di5 Sweep.

Hi All,

Got this line but am not sure "how to fish" the line.

Any advise on the best method to use with this line will be great.

Also not sure of the best retrieve to use? Have not used a line that curves before.

Will appreciate any help.

Thanks

Just retreive like you would normally retrieve with one exception you need to hang the flies more as they start to come up..You have probably used a line that curves before.most Mastery and SA anglers lines were not density compensated so the belly sunk before the tip.So were sweep lines in all but name.

Default Di 5 Sweep lines

I'm sure this subject has been raised before some time ago. Di 5 lines sink at 5 inches per second enabling the angler to fish boobies, lures, and nymphs at a required depth with a slow retrieve. The sweep refers to the curve the line makes. The retrieved lure acts in a manner supposed to be irresistable to trout. The Di 5 line is useful as the weather gets colder to reach fish shoaling at a lower thermal level. In these conditions a slow retrieve is recommended. In warmer weather the Di 5 can be used with a fast strip with blobs and boobies.

You haven't mentioned whose Di 5 line you are interested in.Some lines behave differently depending on the manufacturer and construction.
