Default RIVER TEES FISHING?

After 35 years spent flogging away on the infuriatingly fickle Yorkshire Esk, I have decided to try the Tees next season. Can anyone advise me about the best free / club waters for Trout / salmon fsihing on the Tees? I am aware of the free fishing at Yarm and Barny, can anyone give me any tips or reccomend suitable clubs?
