Default Fishing at Tavistock

Tavvy is really fishing well at the moment, i have been away for a week and also my Farther passed away this week so i havent been on for a while.

I went last week for a 5 hour ticket £25 and bagged a 8lb 4oz, a 6lb 2oz and 2 others a 2lb each, all on a small greenwells nymph which has taken well over 30 odd fish this season. For the quality and price you would be hard pushed to find a better place in the southwest for a small water

Sorry to hear about your Dad.

Have been once to this fishery a fair old time ago and thought it was top class for a Stillwater. Good to hear you are enjoying yourself there.

Mind you the boozer over the road is pretty good too!

First time i went i managed a 15.7 rainbow and saw countless other lovely fish, since she started doing the same stock policy in all lakes imo it's gone downhill, but i do love fishing there, and Abigail really makes you welcome and has some lovely touches such as pasties for lunch and coffee when you arrive. Osprey lake always has some big fish in it too, last time i hooked a huge brown from under the tree right at the lodge end...

oh, and Abigail is
