Thread = Danvilles mono tying thread
Materials = bucktail, crinkle flash, tinsel, peacock hurl.
Other equipment = Veniards head cement, spirit river prismatic tape eyes.
1. start tying thread next to the eye of the hook.
2. tie in some tinsel
3. wrap the tinsel around the shank of the hook till it gets to the bend of the hook, then wrap back towards the eye and tie it in...
4. cut a clump of bucktail and lightly wrap it aroud the bucktail about 2 wraps will do...
5. push down on the bucktail so it goes around the shank of the hook.
6. tie it down...
7. tie in 8 - 10 strands of flash above the bucktail...
8. cut another clump of bucktail (not as big as the last time) and tie it in.. do not push down around the whole shank of the hook.
9. tie it down...
10. tie in about 5 peacock hurls above the bucktail...
11. whip finish...
12. add head cement, or epoxy too create a head and add eyes...
13. you can muck around with this design and can come up with an array of designs....
