Default A final farewell!

I have just received a pm from the moderator informing me that following a complaint from adminold (?) that I have two usernames that I have to let him know which account I would like deleted!
Previously I had an agreement with admin that I kept braveheart so that I retained the ability to edit, amend or update the step by steps I posted as braveheart. Since I have to let braveheart go I have had no other option than to delete all the step by steps I posted as braveheart. Please accept my apologies for having to take this course of action. All of the deleted steps by steps are still available to view free on UKFlyDressing - Home and http://www.wildfisher.co.uk/smf/index.php
I will leave the step by steps I posted as scotfly for the time being.

braveheart (RIP )

Braveheart/Scotfly

I am very sorry this has happened but it is purely a misunderstanding and as agreed you can use both usernames in view of the special circumstances.

The moderator concerned was unaware we had agreed this and I apologise for this but we do have a standard practice when there are two usernames.

It seems an overeaction to delete all these step by steps and this is very much regretted and I wish you had contacted me first.

Thank you for your invaluable support and I can only apologise publicly for the misunderstanding.

Richard

Unhappy

R.I.P. Braveheart.

I find the frivilous comments by some to be disrespectful. A bad show.

A membership going back 7 years to June 2003, a lot of hard work lost to this Forum due to recent thoughtless/heavy handed act of moderation.

Perhaps the moderator, be it he or she, will also be big enough to apologize?

Fly Fishing Forums - Black Pennel x2

Many of Braveheart's step by step instructions are still on the old flyforum proboards, such as the Black Pennel examples above, thank goodness, I hope they will remain there.

I disagree entirely. Braveheart was a cantankerous, argumentative, contrary tight fisted half old git and should have been hung, drawn and quartered long ago. Anyways his alter ego whilst still tight fisted ties a meaner fly.

Anyways here's a toast to the sad passing , may his flies lie in peace.

I knew the Saesanach would get you eventually Denis
