Thanks Paulus. As a newcomer to fly tying I had been looking for some pointers as to yellow dancers. I had in the meantime had a go and had used some Lureflash UV5 Multi fibres (not sure if thats the correct description but it's what is on the packet) for the body and two strands of a Lureflash yellow coloured twinkle that was given away with Trout and Salmon magazine years ago and I have kept in a drawer until now. Glad to know I was on the right track though as it looks somilar to your albeit an inferior quality tying.

Hi Paulus.
Nice tie and video. The Yellow Dancer is one of my favourite patterns as it has caught well for me in the past.

I like the body material is it a rainbow flash.
Do you know where I can obtain some?

one point, I tie mine with a longer tail does not seem to affect my catch rate.Do you think it makes a difference?

Iv'e picked up some good tips from your video. Thanks
