Default LDO

Given that its early in the season have been meaning to tie up some LDO's. My last few ended up in a tree on the weekend. So can anyone recommend a good SBS for a LDO, or possibly even pop one on here?

I twisted up a bunch of these:

Tutorial here. Just change the colouring to suit. I used brown olive goose biots.

Have a look at John Tyzack olive. Its a doddle to tie.
or the IOBO
IOBO Humpy
Both work well when LDO are about.

At last a thread all about me!
Very nice fly though. I've three times caught the biggest wild river brownies of the season in March with LDO patterns. But not this cold mother of a spring. Looks like the first half of April in Scotland is not going to be that much warmer. I was working in icy Michigan last March when that wonderful warm still spell in Scotland brought up the monsters so well documented on this site. I still haven't really recovered from that loss.

Hi.
If the link above (NOT the Charliesflybox one) is clicked on, it asks for ID and passwords and stuff.
So, we cannot see it.
Cheers,
Gary
