Tie in a length of micro chenille
Click the image to open in full size.

Run thread back to where you tied Chenille in and tie in the wing
Click the image to open in full size.

Insert cdc feather into bulldog clip and trim the stem off
Click the image to open in full size.

Split the thread and insert and spin up
Click the image to open in full size.

Trim all long ends and keep it quite short
Click the image to open in full size.

Figure 8 wrap around the wings and pull up the cdc and wing betwwen wraps as you are getting to the end of your cdc rope work towards the eye but keep teasing the cdc back, then whip finish at the eye,
Click the image to open in full size.

Trim chenille to your prefered length, also it needs singeing(sp) with a fag to round it off and seal, trim wing to size

finished fly front view

Hope this is clear enough for you to understand, they are harder than they look these Sbs's,

I am sure there maybe an easier way to tie these but this fly take around 2 minutes to tie and and can easilly be modified to suit green aphids as suggested by NCA in my original posting,

Thanks for looking,

Paul

I like that Paul - a little cracker. I've got a feeling you could be on to a winner with that one.

I'll have 3 please
