I've often seen this pattern and some other variants but have shied away from it because I don't really understand how to fish it. Anyone out there got any info they can share please?

They are meant to be fished slowly like buzzers (note the curved hook they are tied on). I put mine under a Sedgehog and either drift them or just twitch them back. They are very versatile though; you can pull them like the traditional wets they are based on.

Pint,
I usually clip my biot cheeks. Have you found leaving them long makes any difference?

I've tried the biots both clipped and unclipped , never found any real difference in takes. Its just personal preference that I prefer them unclipped.
