Ok Here's my version of the cruncher...



Cruncher

Hook - Kamasan B175 Size 10 , 12
Tail - Furnace Hen Hackle
Body - Pheasant Tail Fibres
Rib - Fine Red Wire
Thorax - Peacock Herl
Head Hackle - Furnace Hen Hackle

(I find Greenwell's hen hard to get hold of , so standardised on Furnace hen hackles).

For the Thorax you can use almost anything, Peacock Herl,Lite Brite, Seals fur, SLF or Micro UV Straggle, must admit I still prefer using peacock herl in various colours.
