Default Minkie ~ Step by Step

Here you go guys , Step by Step for a Minkie.

http://www.diptera.co.uk/patterns/m/minkie_ti.html

This pattern uses a pearl Mylar body, Natural Mink Fur and silver wire for the rib that secures the mink fur. You can use different coloured mink fur, different holographic tinsel , chenille or fritz for the body and different coloured throat hackle. The colour and material combinations are endless.

This pattern is a bit different to the way other tyers tie the minkie, they tend to only tie the mink fur with thread at the tail end of the hook and the eye. This method secures it right down the hookshank with the wire rib and always lasts a lot longer.
