Hook: Kamasan B110 #12
Thread: Black
Rib: Gold Wire
Body: Red, Black, Red
Hackle: Black Cock
Cheeks: Sunburst Goose Biots

Step 1-mount the hook in the vice

Step 2-wind on a layer of thread

Step 3-tie in the rib

Step 4-Dub on some black seals fur and wind up the body

Step 5-Dub on the red seals fur and wind it up the body

Click the image to open in full size.

Step 6- Dub on the black seals fur and wind up

Step 7- Tie in a black cock hackle

Click the image to open in full size.

Step 8- Wind down the hackle

Click the image to open in full size.

Step 9- Trap the hackle with open turns of the rib

Click the image to open in full size.

Step 10- Tie in a sunburst goose biot

Click the image to open in full size.

Step 11- Tie in a goose biot on the other side, whip finish and varnish

Great Fly AP! I've seen some snatchers with really short hackles aswell, what is all that about??
