Default Bubble Sedge

Sorry, but admin has asked me which account I'd like to keep. So I am having to let braveheart go and since I will no longer have control over my sbs's I have no choice but to delete them.
However these sbs's and many more are available, free, on ukflydressing and the wild fishing forums.

Thanks for that. Looks pretty deadly. I expect it fishes pretty low down, and would be a good imitation of a hatching sedge..?

Yes, but it is also a good sedge for pulling and like its little cousin, the Bubble Midge, it can be pulled under to pop back up

Hi Braveheart, nice fly! Do you apply floatant to the thorax?

No, I never add floatant to flie's with CDC in them.
The bubble design makes for a very buoyant fly, any fish slime or anything on it, just give it a shake in the water then a couple of false casts and away you go.

Smashing fly there ,Braveheart. I will have to tie up a couple of them this week and give them go as the annual appearance of the Great Red Sedge should be happening any time soon on my local water.

It is a great sedge imitation Otter and does catch its share of fish, but, for me at the moment, the CDC & Elk is making all my other flys redundant.
