Default Shep's Pheasant Tail Nymph.

This nymph is great early season but will work well right up to the back end.

1 to do when me arms better whats the bit on the hackle pliers does it protect the thread great nymph by the way

It protects the delicate fibers to a point but as you can appreciate you still need to take care.

Simmo thanks for posting loads of tyings have really enjoyed watching them some nice little patterns for me to try and explore with various colours this season. I have got soooo many fly boxes think i need a clear out
