Simmo is that the Tydek Harmonic Vice? The jaws seem unusual but seem to work fine for you. Looks a nice vice. Any chance of a close up of the Jaws?

Can you get the vice in the UK do you know?

Cheers.

Hi, I was lucky enough to win this in a comp (not fly tying) not sure if you can get it in the UK https://www.flyfishingpoint.net/#/es...-vise-harmonic

I will do a review with some images of the vice on my blog should be up by the end of Tuesday.

Nice fly. If you use a velcro brush on the body fibers, it will lift more out & make the body a little more uniform. Keep the vids coming.

Differs from the one featured in TF but I enjoyed that.

Thanks for the comments guys, I do usually use the velcro brusg but when I was looking for it there it was gone bad admin. I have been trying to get to grips with the whip finish tool and failing misrably. I have looked at some videos and they make it look easy, if at first

I'll show you how to use a whip finish tool buddy, the next time you fish with me instead of you sitting doing nothing...

That would be nice Martin, you would think it would be easy after tying for twenty years but no its a tool of the devil I tell you. Probably not helping that I am using a C&F one which looks nothing like the ones that the boys on the tube are using

Hey Simmo, I'm twenty odd years tying and I still can't use the damn whip f**k up tool. More of a tool for torture than fly tying me thinks.
