The finished fly looks good, but personally i think just a little to much thread used. Different from the way i tie them up, I'll give it a go & let you know how i get on. I've got a yellow owl pattern of my own, i'm going to fish this year, hopefully it will be as good as the original.

Keep up the good work.Personaly,I would not cut the CDC.and I'd rather have a yellow body with black rib,but at the end of the day a black body with yellow rib is much the same.

Yellow Owl or Yellow Owl Shuttlecock? Its the naming game, again.

Ah Stan, congrats on the new appointment by the way I am sure you will keep them boys right. I have fallen foul of fly pattern police already but I clearly state this was my interpretation of the fly
