Default The Candy Floss Booby

I am off Grayling fishing today, before I leave the house at this ungodly hour I thought I would share this with you all.
this would be the "if you could only fish with one fly all year what would it be?". This would be the one for me.

I have another couple in the pipe line but the upload speed is really slow, they may be up by this evening. For those not off fishing today unlucky

Aha! so thats the little devil you was using with me eh?... to good effect!! To the sound of "Come on Martin, hurry up and bag-up wi this method" .... My answer was??? ... " I got all day " and my team crashed-out by 3/4 of an ounce .... so much for 'not' relying on time bonuses after your limit ....

You nearly got it right Steve, but more attention to detail required That boy you have presenting could do with a bit of polishing

Originally it was pearl lurex, but I use the mirage now it works just as well.

Aye, but does it?? The super reflective properties of Mirage kinda stops the chameleon effect you get from normal pearl tinsel. The Mirage stops the bleeding effect of the fluo orange uni thread. Incidentally...if you look at the Soldier Palmers website you'll find the dressing there. Also, you'll find it it on You Tube by Dave Downie.....but the mirage...hmm

I thought a little varnish or superglue on the thread before the mirage allowed some colour bleeding? It's certainly worked for me using the "hot" coloured threads.

I'm thinking that norm pearl lurex is better than mirage for this particular wrap...
