No camera so have taken a different approach to the step by steps, this is just a tester really, if feedback is positive then I will do more in more detail.

I tied up a few of these when it was in FF&FT last month. Nice flies but I do worry about durability. They really do look like a one-cast fly for picky fish. No harm in that but you need a box full!

Wont take long to fill up a box with them, amount of hooks used would be my concern

i tied a couple of these too because they were easy enough and used them on some still waters but they hardly stay afloat even in a small wave... surely they wouldnt be much good on a bigger lough..are they really a may fly immatation

I think they would be more suited to the rivers than being fished in a wave on the loughs especially in the smaller sizes. I suppose if tied on a larger lightweight hook and additional cdc is used in the wings I cant see a problem with them sinking when just used for covering fish on a lough. When the season starts and mayfly time arrives I will give them a try in a larger size and more cdc in the wing.
