Tups Indispensable Variant. Considering the original had some fur/wool taken from the scrotum of a tup stained with urine, I think most tups indispensables are variants. I know mine are.
Thanks for sharing Richard.

Nice one Richard. I'll have to try and tie a few tonight. Appreciate the nice simple step by step instructions.

Take care

Terry

My late grandfather was a herd and he used to get me (well he told me it was from there anyway), the wool from where Wobbly suggests. I used to have a fair collection of it, but when I thought of tying some Tups recently I couldn't find my "stash". I asked my wife if she had seen it and to my horror she said "I threw it in the bin - it stinks of p**s. LOL couldn't believe it.

John.

Nice SBS Richard. I notice you tie a much more pronounced thorax and tighter hackle turns than the "pseudo"-thorax you tie on your Kites and Grey Dusters. Do you notice a difference i.e is the thorax of the PWDsmore humped and pronounced, or is it homage to the original pattern? Thanks again
