Default Jelly sedge Pupa
Did this a few years back but thought id put it on again as myself and alot of people i have tied these for have had great success.

1/ Run thread down to create your thorax length

2/ Tie in your spanflex/flexi floss

3/ Run the floss down the body in tight turns then rib it back up.

4/ Tie in some pheasant tail (ive used picric)

5/ Dub on some hare's ear
Click the image to open in full size.

6/ Then wind it forward to create your thorax

7/ Use some velcro to tease out the fibers

8/ Tie in some partridge or dyed mallard flank on either side of the thorax.

9/ Fold your pheasant tail over the top. Trim off the excess,

10/ Whip finish and varnish

All cracking flies, love the colour combos and the proportions are perfect, also a very nice SBS, another one I'll be having a go at i'm sure.
