Exclamation Hairwing Mayfly for early Drake (Very Easy to Tie!)

SBS is here. This is an easy fly for the start of the Drake's season when the fish are still a bit unsure of themselves when eating the real thing.

Tasty looking fly Richard. Will have to add one or two to the pot. Keep 'em coming. Thanks, Tim

Roll cast,

'It is vital to only make one wing. Two wings will spiral your tippet in no time at all, whilst one will let you cast all day without any trace of a twist.'

Copied from the tying instructions.

That'll certainly do for a good number of the trout where I fish.

Great looking fly, thanks

Mike

A very useful pattern for the vulgata that has been hatching spasmodically for 2-3 weeks where i fish. The fish though seem to be going more for the sub surface, hatching dun/drake.
Thanks for posting Richard.
