Very nice simple tie Tups, I love a hopper and a Daddy, fished New Zealand style, fantastic fun, shall tie some up.

As its an Irish Fly Tups, is it not Lough, not Loch?

Sorry to hijack the post... one of my favourite flies - works well for me on Rutland and Grafham.

When we fished the Spring International out in Ireland last year, I could never really get my head around this. Some maps had 'Loch Lein', others had 'Lough Leanne', while some had both! Which is correct?

Gents,
Believe it or not Loch is Gaelic for Lake in Both Ireland and Scotland. Lough is the anglicised version used over here in day to day english. You will see signs over here in Gaelic with 'Loch na Corribe' for example i.e. Lough Corrib.
