Here is a step by step, of a pattern that fishes well for me. i am not a lover of a lot of flash, but this pattern dose work.

The above two photos showing the materials,

Place the hook in the vise, here i have used a Korda size 1 carp hook.

Tie in the thread, i have used Danville 70 denier red.

Now tie in the throat, here i have used red fox.

Now i tie in the low wing, which is Deer hair in pink. pink is a color that has worked well for me in saltwater,

Now a middle wing of flashy pink material,

Now tie in the top wing, again deer hair in light blue.

Here i have tied in some blue krystal flash, on the near side of fly.

Now i have tied in the far side flash, and tied off the thread.

Now i coat the head with Tina nail varnish, which is cured with a UV torch in 3/5 seconds.

Now i push on some mylar, in pearl and gold and tie off.

Now using the tina uv varnish, to stick on the eyes (
deercreek eyes) and coat mylar.

Full view of finished pattern,

And a few more colors i use,
Hope you like the fly, and step by step.
If you need to ask about any thing, just ask away.
Happy tying.
Dai.
