its becoming the norm,we are after all a big advertising board with thousands of members reading listings everyday, defo wrong though.
should be made for sale only and not OFFERS.

If it gets on your moobs, speak with the admin and ask them to stop it, but I thought it was a public forum?

As you will probably notice I had loads of stuff up for sale on here, most of it went to members for a great price in which they were very pleased with their purchase and postage. The postage was about average so I didn't make a 'Skin' and try very hard not to, but if this product was to be purchased at Lakeland, they would charge a flat rate from £3 even though it may be one thread, would you complain to him? Naw thought not. However, if it costs more to post the seller foots the bill because it is difficult to get it right. As I am sure many will testify

Some stuff didn't sell so off to e-bay it went and sold, probably due to more exposure and people willing to pay for it.

So the question is asked do I put it up on here and wait, or do I go through e-bay. To be honest e-bay was the best bet for some of the the stuff I was selling after being offered on here first I may add, I would probably get the best price for it due to the bidding system.

Like it has been said things should be for sale and not offers. However, what you don't see is what goes on in the background and I am sure I am not the only one this has happened to. For example, I was approached by a member who shall remain nameless advising he was prepared to beat any offer on the table for an item I was selling, given the fact the item was already sold. I could have turned it into a Forum e-bay, but chose not to because I am a man of my word.

Are members willing to pay the asking price? some yes, some not, some will give an offer of £5 cheaper than the asking price, so again the question is asked who is it thats turning it into an offering system. If its for sale, it for sale at the price stated, not open to offers, non negotiable, so perhaps Some members, not all members need to take that into consideration before purchasing something.

Its been a blast, and probably the last time posting on the forum, I'll make sure the door doesn't hit me on the way out!

Dear guest24,

I can't reply to your message, but thanks for getting in touch (under your old username). I personally don't mind a PM when I'd messaged you earlier and shown an interest in the product and I don't mind any of your links adverts. I don't have to buy do I?

You asked "Are you still looking for Spike guard hair?" well after a year travelling I'm heading back to the northern rivers and will need to tie a few up so I am still looking. But only in natural and in bulk or the dying work won't be worth the hassle.

I can see why you might have disabled receiving PM's (I think there were some pretty harsh responses there from non-buyers) so if you do have something suitable PM me again with an alternative method of contact and we'll talk price. Hope you don't mind a public reply but there didn't seem to be any other option.

Tight lines.

Paul.
