Iam looking for some advice on tying flies for sea trout which hooks would you recommend singles, doubles, not trebles hurt my fingers too much and are they made of thick wire so they get down quick?Low water hooks are self explanatory, use when the water level is low and am i right in saying they are made of lighter wire so they dont go down too quick ?thank you

Yes, this is generally true but I use single long shank trout lure hooks for a lot of my sea trout flies and have no issues with them.
