Default Today is a sad day for hook manufacturers.........

I have just counted 83 hook boxes I own without counting the packets yet.

Enough is enough.

No more hook purchases for me until next year.

Oh come on Loopy! We all know you're a 'tackle tart,' you'll never make it. You'll be experiencing 'withdrawal' symptoms by the end of next week.

I gave up counting many many years ago. For trout hooks I have 8 boxes with 32 sections in each box, most of them have 100 + hooks in each section. Then there are another few smaller multi-sectioned boxes with odds & bods in. I've got 3 large Raaco boxes of salmon hooks + a few odd loose pkts. Good job I'm single !

I've only just started tying, and have about 3-4 hundred. Looks like I might have to buy a few more to keep up.

You've not considered collecting rare/ discontinued hooks yet then Chris? Go on, you know you want to.

Ah Flymakers, yes they've got a heap of late discontinued Partridge. Oddly though some are mislabelled. I got some CS7s from them a few years ago only to find they were black Sprite wide gape DEs. If you like the old hooks take a peek at this place.
