There great.
Strong with a great hook up.
I use them alot for para adams,F flies but the hook is also great for nymphs.

Cheers Toby, are they on the heavy side ( for dries ? ).

They look a bit thicker ( in pictures ) than , say Tiemco's .

Tks

I just bought 1000 odd from Funky Fly Tying.
I blew hot and cold with them when they first came out but the folk i tie flies for really rate them and must admit to now using them myself for some patterns.
I use them for some nymphs, they have a good length shank.
I currently prefer other hooks for dries.

I find them ok for dries.
But there are loads of great patterns for dries.
Are you looking for a good barbless dry fly hook or just that you like the look of the wave barbless?

I have had success with this pattern the last few days so tried it on a Varivas 2120WB size 18 yesterday and it did the trick.
I would not have any worries about it being to heavy.

I ask Dave Wiltshire on here about 6 months or so about these hooks as he uses them alot in his sbs's. They were highly recommended and after using them i would recommend them as well. I use 14-20's mainly for nymphs as quite a long shank. 20's suit a 1.5mm tungsten bead really well and stick really good!

Nice to hear chris at lathkill is stocking them he's a great guy with good honest stuff excellent to use

There will be a cracking new hook coming from Varivas soon as well

Can't say what it is but lets just say i think it will be a best seller.
