Default Sharing some patterns

After many failed attempts I have finally figured out how to post photos. Hope this is not overload but thought I would share a few of my patterns that have done the business over the last few years.

Hope they are of interest and happy to share any dressings etc

Sedge Pattern
A very buoyant sedge pattern with a realististic silhouette

Extended Body CDC Buzzer
A really simple pattern. I use singed micro chenille for the body and in micro sizes use singed backing line.

Barnbeth Buzzer
I have struggled to find a current source for material, however I used very fine caniliar tubing (as used in heart surgery) and inserted fine red powergum (4lb) inside. It made a very realistic body material.

Laidon
Another very simple pattern but can be deadly when fish are feeding on small dark sedge. The body is holographic silver tinsel and the wing is hen pheasant.

Heather Fly
Finally my take on the heather fly. I use knotted orange biots for legs and a couple of crumpled and trimmed lengths of pearl mylar to represent wings.

As they say, nothing 'new' in flytying but these do seem to work.

The pictures work but if you copy the IMG code in your photo bucket account and paste it on it gives you this.

Sorry you got it to work!!!!
Initially all I could see were blank screens and I had to double click on them to open it.

Ok here's a few more:

I tie a pretty useful olive nymph using stipped quill for the body

I have also previous mentioned my caenis combo, an ethafoam dry with a sparse emerger fished static, hanging on the dropper.

Caenis dry - Hook 20-22. The body is a tiny cylinder of ethafoam through which I pass a very thin heated needle. The then feed this onto the hook.

Caenis emerger - My tying but inspired by Swisher and Richards style.

Just to give a scale. I used to tie these on course hooks as they had a shorter shank than flyhooks, allowing a tiny fly but with a better hooking ability.

Oh those last 2 photos have sent my mind ,what there is of it, racing.
I have a wee situation that these might help in solving.
