Default A Few Creations

Here are some of the flies I have been tying, after a 20+ years break from fly tying, things are starting to fall back in place if maybe a little rusty and requiring a bit more time and practice to get them looking a bit neater. Really having a battle with the whip finish side of things.

Comments and feedback welcome. Some of these are my own creation, I'm sure some of them must of been thought of before and so probably have correct names and not the ones I've assigned them so apologies in advance if I've named them incorrectly.

The above 3 flies worked very well on a small river in Wales.

Getting there mate.
You really seem to like the tiny hooks, most peopls shy away from them. Keep it up.

I do like tying the smaller flies, it's a good challenge.

20 year break and your back tying the 20's well in. The Felin Parc "Fluffer" looks like it could do a job during a caenis hatch.

It worked very very well on the wild brownies in Wales. The place we were staying at was called Felin Parc and hence the name of the fly. The "Gnatzy" was also a great success.

Nothing quite beats the satisfaction of tying your own flies and then catching fish on them.
