Tied a few tubes in 1" and 1.5" for some seatrout bashing at the weekend.

Just started sea trout fishing old jock. Learning as I'm going along, they are my first tube flies. Inspired by John Grays work!

When I tie trout flies I can only manage to knock up about 9 at once but I found it very easy to tie 19 tube flies without stopping.

I will let you know how they fish at the weekend.

Very nice ties... tubes are underated for fishing styles generally... I'm having great success on a particular tube for pike... the beauty is that they part company from the hook after the take and suffer far less fish damage.

Fished the tubes on Tuesday night, had great sport with the pollack but no seatrout.

Where did you catch the pollack thinking of trying to catch a couple, my mate in school is bugging me about going fishing with him. Trouble is I sit beside him in nearly ever subject.
