Thanks for the kind words.
Andy, the smallest i go with this pattern is a 16 tied on a Knapek Pupa hook.
Its a wee gem and other than the BPTN its the first fly on my line for the ladies up here.
Grayling flies dont have to be the size of your fist, why do people insist on tying huge things i dont know. In fact last season a size 16 was a big nymph.
