I've managed to tie some of my best buzzers thanks to his sparse midge vidoes. A true gentleman he is.

I download Davie's videos from Youtube on to my pc. I use this software DVDVideoSoft.com: Download free DVD, iPod, YouTube video converter and editor software and freeware and then copy some on to my media player.

My fly tying was very bad until i watched a few of his clips on youtube. I cannot praise him enough. The first fly i watched him tying was a silver alleys shrimp and i was just speachless that he could make such a good fly in under 10 mins whereas i was making terrible flies in 20-30 mins. I watched the clip about 10 - 15 more times and then had a go and tied a pretty good version. After that i have watched all his videos and where once i bought 90% of my flies i am no tying about 70%.

Yep best person to watch when starting to roll ya own , good to watch even if you been doing ya own for a while .
