Default One for Englander

Reading how Englander likes his Roach fishing thought I would post this ....

I fish for Roach on the river and have found this works very well for them . Have tried all different colours and this seems to be the best ....

Oh and the Trout seem to like it also

Ingredients are easy to see but just incase ...

Black Thread, Orange PT , Copper Wire , Hot Orange Dubbing with a wee bit of Gold Holographic dubbing added , Hook ( your choice ) All very simple , but then the best often are

nice tye mate.. have the perch had a dig? ..i do love big perch
they love a good fry pattern.. sausage couple of eggs, mushrooms
materials are on there way mate let me know when they get there

Lovely tie what sizes ?

Just back in from the canal got 3 wee Roach hooked a 3/4lb sadly had him on a few seconds till he came off

Cheers , I have had 1 or 2 Perch on them but the Roach outnumber the Perch by a long way . Had a double hook up yesterday , Perch on the above and a Roach on the same but in Claret .

Cheers , sizes it up to you , what you think fits the bill . I use them big #14 and #16 as it stops the really wee lads getting hold of it . I have them in all different colours , sizes and different weight hooks .
