Default Correct amount of hackle on a snatcher??

Hi Guys,
I wish to add these deadly looking flies to my arsenal.

I read in a past article by Stan Headley in T&S that snatchers should be slim in the dubbing and amount of hackle should be sparse.

Is this the correct amount or should it be slimmer again??

Looks pretty much on the money to me mate. Lovely tie. Nice and slim, and just enough hackle to fish it 'dry' for moment or two, then 'damp' for a moment or two longer, if you wish to... then tweak and twiddle away. In terms of movement, less is more when using cock hackle.

Thank you Scratch,
I never thought about the part about fishing them dry for a moment or two!! Jesus I can certainly see them going down a treat.

Funny you don't seem to hear too much about them over here.
