Default Sedge hatch

My club loch has been having great sedge hatches for the last couple of months. Been getting a few on a wee emerger pattern fished static.
Not quite hitting the mark though. The fish appeared to be chasing the emerging adults so I thought I would try this,

It is the right colour and fishes right in the surface film. Inched back on a long leader it has been getting me a good few fish.

HOOK size 12 B170
TAIL,
BODY and WING. ginger marabou
EYES 4mm, coloured with a yellow marker
Not quite, "matching the hatch" but it works.

Hope you like it

Looks good, I can see how it would work. I think it would catch its share off fish even when there was no sedges. Is there a reason why you coloured the top half of the eyes?

Cheers
