I read with interest the article on hoppers in the current issue of FF&FT. Just wondering, what do you guys use for the hackle and where do you source it from?

I just use indian cock capes that I have had forever. Cheap as chips and work a treat.

Cheers. The article recommended not to use genetic capes. Unfortunately this is about all I have (absent a bunch of Whiting American capes which aren't in suitable colours).
