Default variant

hi, sorry to be a pain but doesn't the cat wiskers have chain eyes seems a nice variant but won't the fox hair be a bit stiff, rather like a streamer pattern it seems to me, but, have u fished it yet?? and does it perform its duty

Never seen a SBS for a cats whiskers that has chain eyes but I suppose the option is there if you want it. Looks interesting. I'd love to see how the hair moves in the water. The only CW's I've ties have had marabou and chenielle. never tried a fritz CW.

I've had alot of success with a fritz cat in traditional colours, as well as with yellow micro fritz.

Infact, I'd go so far as to say that (currently) it's my most productive fly.

And I'll also be tying a few of these up with some of Nantucs finest!

Cheers AW!

Not tryed the wolf fur in the water had just got a and done the fly. Should give fritz cats a try take a lot of fish for me. My best one is with that single edge fritz.

The texture of my 'wolf's fur' is softer than cat, because this fur is the last of her 'baby fur', for the next coat she will shed will be the first of her Adult coats.

..as far as tying up flies with this fur..one of my main fishers has already caught just under 50 trout with it..as he has tied several productive fly patterns with it.................ArticWolf
