same as arkle.. never heard of it mate if you got the dressing or a picture you,v got more chance.. it would help more if you said what materials are in the bag aswell

its a scotish wet fly ...body is seals fur mix of olive and brown,,,,gold rib....red game body hackle..partridge head hackle...its a shrimp imitation

It was featured in Trout Fisherman in 1998 and basically the so called inventer Robert Adam has flogged Stans Palmered March Brown and given it a new name.

The dressing for the leathal weapon is;
Body: 40% Dull yellow seals fur and 60% sandy brown hares fur.
RIB: No 2 Flat gold tinsel
BODY HACKLE: Light Red Game Cock
HEAD HACKLE: Brown Partridge

STANS PALMERED MARCH BROWN
BODY: Under dub- Sparse yellow seals fur. Over Dub- Well mixed hares mask
BODY HACKLE: Ginger Cock Hackle
RIB: Fine Oval Gold
HEAD HACKLE: Brown Partridge

Apart from the slight variation in the rib it is Stans Palmered March Brown.

I have used the Leathal Weapon for years. Its good for sedge hatches and large olive buzzers. I also do a version with a few strands of Craig Barr's UV rib as a tail approx 3 /4 mm long. Its magic as a middle dropper pulling fly for stocky rainbows.
