Default Mackerel's Toe

Here's a pattern that has been doing very well for me with wild stillwater browns this year. Think it should do well for loch sea trout as well - going to be giving it a go for them in a couple of weeks.

Hook: B175 size 10
Tail: GP crest
Body: red holo
Body hackle: claret cock, ribbed red Uniwire
Throat: peackock neck (Ilen blue)

Fruity Col, very fruity! I can see the browns taking a shine to that, and, as you say, probably the sea-trout. Have ye thrown it at the 'bows yet?
